Reading Food Labels Aids Weight Loss

Shopping? Deciding what what eat? Read the label to decide! A study by an international team of researchers in Spain of surveys from more than 25,000 people concluded that people who read the nutritional information on food labels avoid weight gain and stay thinner than those who don't, especially women -averaging a BMI (body mass index) score 1.49 points lower than women who never read food labels.
So why not give it a try? At the very least, you’ll become better informed about the food you consume.
